This Basic Rigging course will teach the participant the essential knowledge & skills required to, erect or install permanent steel structures, dismantle structural steel, and move or locate plant & equipment using a range of basic rigging techniques.
On completion of the training, participants will be competent to undertake the SafeWork NSW assessment required to receive their High-Risk Work Licence to Perform Rigging Basic Level.
Participants will require a current High-Risk Work Licence to Perform Dogging CPCCLDG3001 to be eligible to register for this course.

Licence & Assessment Information
This course is based on the requirements of the National Standards for Licencing Persons Performing High-Risk Work.
There will be 4 days of theory & practical training & on the final day of the course, the SafeWork NSW assessment will be conducted.
Each day will consist of a combination of knowledge, calculations & practical training where participants will be required to demonstrate industry skills & knowledge described in the units of competency included in this course
On completion of the training, participants will be required to complete an RTO assessment to identify if the participant is competent to undergo the SafeWork NSW assessment or if further training is required.
The SafeWork NSW assessment will be held on the final day of the course, To pass the assessment, all critical components must be demonstrated and answered correctly
On successful completion of the SafeWork NSW assessment, participants will be given a:
Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for CPCCLRG3001 Licence to Perform Rigging Basic Level, recognised within the Australian Qualifications Framework and issued under the authority of the National Vocational Education and Regulator Act 2011
A SafeWork NSW licence to perform high-risk work application form, to be lodged at Australia Post within 60 days of the completion of the assessment.

This course provides participants with knowledge and skills to undertake basic rigging for licensing purposes.
This basic riggers course provides participants with the required skills and knowledge to enable them to safely and conduct rigging in a variety of situations in compliance with Work Safe WA Standards and Regulations.
Riggers use mechanical load-shifting equipment and associated gear to move, place or secure loads, including plant, equipment or members of a building or structure. Riggers ensure the stability of those members and set up and dismantle cranes and hoists.
The course covers the skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively use basic rigging techniques to move and place loads using various types of rigging equipment.
