An Overview of the Test

• The test is split into four sections: speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• The listening test will take around 30 minutes. After listening to four recorded texts, you will write answers to a series of questions.
• The reading test will take around 60 minutes, consisting of 40 questions.
• The writing test will take around 60 minutes, which includes a descriptive activity and writing an essay.
• The speaking test takes around 11 to 14 minutes, and is in the form of a face-to-face interview. This portion of the test is used to assess the candidate’s spoken English level.
