DurationOur IELTS Preparation course has been specifically designed to help international students develop the English language skills required to succeed in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. In this intensive English language course you'll discover how to best approach each section of the IELTS exam.
You'll further develop your skills in the four key skills of language learning: listening, speaking, reading and writing. You'll also develop time management skills and gain valuable experience taking weekly IELTS practice exams.
TAFE Queensland offers two levels of IELTS preparation courses: IELTS 1 and IELTS 2. The approximate exit level equivalency for this course is IELTS 5.5 for level one and IELTS 6.0 for level two.
Successful completion of this course will prepare you to succeed in the IELTS exam and get the results you need for study, work, or immigration purposes. This course will also give you direct entry to any TAFE Queensland certificate or diploma with equivalent English language entry requirements.
