Noble Academy prepares students for these exams by using the standard texts, cd-roms, and other learning support materials supplied by the IELTS partners (University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, the British Council and IDP, and Education Australia).
The IELTS examinations in Canada and North America are designed to reflect the respective English language dialects.There are two streams for the IELTS examinations: Academic, and General Training.
The Academic stream is applicable to students seeking admission into undergraduate or postgraduate studies, or for professional purposes; while the General Training stream is for entry into non-degree vocational or training programs, for admission into secondary schools, or for purposes of immigration.
The IELTS examination has four modules, namely: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each stream has its own version of the Reading and Writing modules, due to the differing reasons for the tests. A scoring system is applied to the examination, so that performance in the various modules is considered separately. Students are scored on a scale from 0 (Did not attempt the test) to 9 (Expert User) for each module, independently.
