Ignite Your Creativity

This Winter IGNITE Your Creativity with the National Youth Theatre in partnership with Netflix will be based at Digbeth Loc Studios in Birmingham and we are happy to announce three new workshops for you to sign up for.

• In this two-hour workshop, you will meet several industry professionals. We will do practical group activities that explore backstage and behind-the-scenes roles in Theatre, TV, and Film. We will work together to explore camera angles and storyboarding techniques and share more about the IGNITE Your Creativity course, which will take place from February 17th to 21st, 2025, at Digbeth Loc Studios.
• This workshop is for young people aged 16-25(up to 30 if neurodivergent, D(d)eaf or disabled) who have filled out the registration form on our website nyt.org.uk/ignite and selected West Midlands. If you haven't yet, please do this before booking a ticket. You will need to be able to travel to Digbeth Loc Studios in Birmingham.
• Kindly note that the workshop on the 4th Dec 6pm-8pm and the 14th Dec at 11am-1pm will cover the same content. Therefore, you should only plan to attend one of these sessions, whichever suits your schedule best.
• The second workshop on the 14th December from 2:30pm-4:30pm, focusing on Production Management. You have the flexibility to attend this workshop in addition to the intro workshop or as a standalone session, depending on your interests and availability.
