This course examines the role of health personnel in the control and elimination of health hazards in institutions.
Infection control problems both medical and environmental will be investigated as well as the roles of the infection control officer and the public health inspector. Problems unique to hospitals, long-term care facilities, child-care centres, schools, and prisons will be discussed.
