Within each section, students take courses in grammar, writing, reading, and listening and speaking, which are designed to help students develop proficiency in communicating with English speakers both orally and in writing.
The goal of the Intensive English Program is to prepare students academically and help them advance professionally. Each session is comprised of 72 hours of classroom instruction. The program is designed to be completed in 6-18 months.
Not sure which level of instruction is right for you? We offer a placement test for each entering student to determine your ability level. Just like all our ESL classes, you don’t have to wait for a specific session to start or end. Jump in when you are ready and we will help you get on track!

The English Language Program (ELP) is designed for students and professionals seeking to improve their English communication skills to advance their academic and career goals.Â
Students are placed in the beginning classes based on the score achieved on the school’s placement exam. Level ZA starts at the beginning level; at this level, students know very little English or no English.
South Beach Languages offers 12 levels of English classes, from Beginner to Advanced.
