Introduction To Mehndi (Henna)

Introducing you to the art of applying henna with confidence and enhancing your skills. You will learn how to design, draw and apply traditional henna patterns, thereby increasing your prospects of employment.

This beginner’s course is designed especially to increase your confidence in applying henna as well as to enhance your skills. Use this course as a stepping stone to bettering your job prospects or simply for fun.

You will benefit from this course as it will be taught by a professional henna artist whose main objective will be to teach you to apply traditional henna patterns. The course is run from Layton Road Training Centre, each Wednesday 09:30 – 12:00 for 9 weeks.

By the end of this course, you will have mastered the following: learning how to make your own mehndi paste and cones, the correct methods of holding a mehndi cone, building your confidence in applying mehndi, and lastly being educated on the advantages/disadvantages of different types of mehndi.

You will also grow in confidence through peer-to-peer interaction and creativity.
