Overview
This course is designed to introduce ISO 9001:2015 to delegates with prior auditing skills. It demonstrates how to perform first, second and third-party audits of an organisation’s management system, as well as providing a series of discussions, role plays and exercises for learners to gain confidence and skill in every part of the audit process.
Aims and Objectives
This course aims to offer a thorough appreciation of the audit life cycle for first, second and third-party audits, as well as delivering the essential skills, knowledge and understanding to ensure a successful audit and the establishment of a positive and successful working relationship with the auditee.

This is a five day course.
Who Should Attend
While this course is primarily designed for auditors but it is also an excellent option for anyone interested in ISO 9001: 2015.
Prior Knowledge
Please note: It is advised that candidates attend the ISO 9001: 2015 Foundation Course (Quality Management Systems) before attending this course. This is a one day course which we have scheduled before the Internal Auditor course.
If you have prior knowledge of Management Systems, The PDCA cycle, Quality Management & knowledge of ISO 9001 standards then this will be deemed acceptable.
If you do not hold the Foundation Certificate, however, some pre-course reading is attached for you to peruse before the course. Your trainer will verify your prior knowledge on the first day of the course. If you already have the Foundation certificate, please send us evidence of this before the commencement of the course.
Content
The course, which requires a specified level of prior knowledge, focuses on understanding and applying the skills needed to be a successful auditor.
Learning is delivered in the form of exercises, discussions, role-play and presentations from attendees. During the course, all stages of a commercial audit will be simulated with a fully functioning ISO 9001:2015 system.
The course is assessed on a continual basis as well as a final examination at the end of the five days.
Learners are reminded that prior knowledge is a necessity for the course, and they are unlikely to pass the final examination without this.

Certification
A certificate of completion is awarded to all learners who complete the course successfully and pass the final examination. Certificates of attendance are also available for those who complete the course but do not pass the exam.
Attendees who do not pass the final examination are invited to resit within 12 months of completion of the original course.
