Our six week courses allow you the time and space to learn about jewellery making in depth and in detail. Courses are led by experienced professional jewellers and classes are small groups to make sure every student has enough support to succeed - whatever that means to them.
Most course run as either a morning session - 10.30am to 1.00pm or as an evening session - 6.30pm - 9.00pm. We have course available for all abilities, see individual course listings for details.

Welcome to Nottingham's only dedicated school of jewellery making. We are an independent workshop based in Sherwood, Nottingham and we firmly believe everyone can make jewellery.
We have with a team of specialist jewellery tutors offering recreational and vocational classes and work with students at all levels from complete beginners to professional makers.
We offer one day classes, six week courses, one to one tuition, wedding ring workshops, group and party bookings, workplace team building experiences and rentable bench space. We even have an onsite tools and jewellery supplies shop.
This creative course will give you opportunity to learn some basic metalworking skills with which to make jewellery. Study part-time with us and pick up a fun new hobby! We offer both Introduction and Improvers courses in Jewellery Making and Precious Metals.
We'll cover all the basics of silver smithing and an introduction to jewellers tools and techniques to allow you to create your own pieces of jewellery and metal work.
This one-day self-directed workshop will provide you with the opportunity to create a small project of your choice or refurbish an existing project item – all with the guidance and expertise of the tutor.
Students will begin by looking into the basic tools, workshop health and safety, at best practices for the use of equipment and workshop awareness.
Enamelling Courses is offered by Alys Power Jewellery. Held at the Nottingham Jewellery School, at the Hartley Business Centre in Carrington, Nottingham this is a six week class in enamelling, focussing on dry sifted kiln enamel
