Job Safety Analysis

This course is essential for anyone who is required to carry out formal or informal job observation. JSAs provide the foundation necessary to write safe work procedures.

• Identify SHE hazards.
• Make recommendations to control.
• Complete a job safety analysis.
• Identify and understand observable behaviors.
• Identify and rank critical hazards.
• Understand the fundamentals of observation and positive reinforcement as a training tool.

• Prepare a plan of action for implementing a JSA programme.
• Formulate and write operating procedures, which include, in logical sequence, all safety and health steps.
