jQuery is a JavaScript library file developed with the motto of “write less, do more”. It is a fast and feature-rich library that helps to use JavaScript much easier. That is, it reduces the coding task as it simplifies the most complicated tasks of JavaScript.

Hence jQuery become the most popular and extendable JavaScript framework. It is compatible with all browsers and makes common tasks like event handling, animation and HTML document traversing easier.
