Other projects include a Nutcracker Christmas pennant and an original Juliette Christmas ornament incorporating appliqué and embroidery skills. Each class we stop to hear an Orchard Kingdom story while we sip on fragrant tea and enjoy our snack! Taught by Brenda Edwards.
Orchard Kingdom is a studio dedicated to training young people in the arts and at the same time facilitating their growth in sanctification. With a love for the Word of God, Creative Director Brenda Edwards, has devoted herself to writing music curriculum and musicals.
We offer sewing classes to beginners.. children 7 and up. Learning to sew is fun and a usable skill
Classes are 2 hours sessions. We offer group classes or private sessions Tuesday-Thursday. Sewing And Fitting Your Garment course is offered by Silver Needle And Thread.
No matter what level of sewing knowledge you have, this Adult Sewing Class is for you. Beginning students will learn how to use their machine, take their body measurements , lay out and cut fabric, read a pattern, understand the pattern directions, finish seams and learn sewing techniques.
In this two-hour beginner class you will learn all the basics of a sewing machine. You may bring your own machine or use one of ours if you haven't purchased one and are thinking you may want to. By the end of class you will have made a standard size bed pillowcase or a set of two napkins.
In this workshop, you'll start by making one small block using Foundation Paper Piecing. Then you'll repeat that block three more times and join them all together at the end! All materials will be provided for you.
