The Karate Academy of South Africa are a number of Karate Schools across Southern Africa owned by Soon Pretorius. Each of these schools are managed from TKA HQ situated in Brooklyn, Pretoria. These family-friendly Karate centres are located in Pretoria, Midrand, Ficksburg, Uitenhage and Port Elizabeth.
Karate Training is offered by Zanshin Karate for all ages and skill level. A kata is a series of basic techniques simulating a fight against one or more imaginary opponents. During a kata the moves are used to defend against an attack using blocks, strikes, throws and other techniques.
Karate class is offered by Border JKA Karate East London
Karate Class is offered by South African Shotokan Karate Academy for Seniors. Women, Men, Children and Small Kids can be part of the Saska Experience.
Basics is the part of training that lays the foundation for all karate. Students can never do enough basics. Repetitive execution of techniques, with movement in classical stances forms the basis of good posture, fitness, speed and effective techniques.
This karate Curriculum has been developed for 3-5 year old's. Apache Karate offers a safe, happy and encouraging environment where the students will through karate, learn self defense skills, develop personal discipline and confidence while getting active and having fun!
