Sew-ciety is a quilt supply and fabric shop in Castle Rock, Colorado. We offer sewing and quilting classes from beginners to the more advanced.
The objective of this course is to ensure students can clearly articulate and demonstrate an understanding of hand sewing techniques, zipper setting, pleats and setting in a lining and sleeves.
In each 2-hour class, we will learn and practice 3-4 free motion quilting designs, gradually building the skills and confidence from beginner to advanced level.
Rather than a structured group class, learn exactly what you want to learn in a one-on–one environment at your own pace. Designers/Students are encouraged to bring actual garments or hand sketches of garments of which they wish to create technical sketches.
After completing this class, kids and teens will feel empowered to create their own designs. We have a skill building philosophy so that kids have what it takes to imagine, plan and create. Home Room is where creativity meets practical skills to build confidence, a sense of accomplishment and pride
