Dance School of Distinction offers an extensive range of dance and Performing Arts with Classical Ballet remaining the core focus of the school.

Dance School of Distinction Ballarat continues a strong tradition of nurturing a love of dance and performing arts under the direction of Principal Anita Michael and is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to develop strong foundations of dance technique, self confidence, new friendships and a commitment to excellence.

We have always been the benchmark for outstanding classical ballet tuition and technique, this tradition and commitment will never waiver, however given the skills of our outstanding teaching faculty we believe we have a commitment to provide and nurture a love of all styles of dance and performing arts to our students.

Classes remain limited in size with the specific aim of understanding each student, their individual development requirements and fostering a sense of enjoyment, teamwork skills, musicality and artistry. At DSD children develop new friendships, self confidence and build the strong foundation of technique in classical ballet and all styles of dance.

We strongly believe that fee paying parents should expect no less than the highest quality tuition, to provide each student the opportunity to be the best he or she can be.
