The studio is in its 11th year of operation and caters for many styles of dance. All classes are great for your fitness levels, for the social aspect, are a lot of fun, allow for learning new skills and accommodate ALL age groups.
Our genres of classes are:
Hip Hop, Jazz, Breakdancing, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballet, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre asnd Kindy Dance classes for our 0-5yrs age group.
All classes run for 1 hour, except for Private lessons and 3yr old class. We focus on stretches and techniques during the beginning of class and then we learn dances. These dances are then performed at the markets, festivals and Eisteddfods in Palmerston, Rural and Darwin areas and also at the end of year concert. Sometimes we may perform at other times throughout the year as the opportunity arises.
Private Lessons - We provide private lessons for 1 student or a shared lesson for 2 students. Each class runs for ½ hour where the student will learn a solo/due dance that can be performed in competitions throughout the year. Private lessons allow the student to have a more intense lesson to work on their technique and skills.
Please note that Students must be enrolled in the group class to participate in private lessons and commit to 12 months of lessons.
Dancing is a great way for your kids to socialise in a fun, safe and fully supervised environment. Ranging from ages 4-12, both girls and boys participate in partnered dancing, using progressive dances to give them opportunity to change partners and interact with each other.
For 3 and 4 year-olds this class is created to encourage musicality, co-ordination and locomotion skills, listening and recall. It gently introduces technique through imaginative sequences and offers the children an array of styles.
Our Toddler classes are for children who are ready to take instruction from their teacher and allow their family to leave the studio during the class.
The Recreational Program is designed for students at a beginning to intermediate level of dance, students who want to keep classes casual and fun or just starting on their dancing journey.
Your little Princess or Hero will shine in our Mums & Bubs program. Come and enjoy a special 30 minutes of fun and dancing with your little one (18 months to under 3 years) where mums and bubs embrace the early stages of dance together.
