Our popular beginner's knitting series consists of three 90-minute classes. Over the course of three classes, you will learn to cast on your foundation stitches, the knit and purl stitches and how to combine them, and bind off your stitches.

We will provide you with a set of knitting needles and a ball of yarn. You will use these supplies to learn in class and practice at home—yes, we assign homework and expect you to complete it before your next class!
After you complete the course, you will pick out your first project, and we will teach you how to read and follow your pattern, and finish it by weaving in your ends and blocking the piece for a beautiful project your friends, family, and co-workers will envy.
Most of our classes are one-on-one, unless you schedule a class with your friends. We keep our class sizes small so we can give each student our undivided attention, and we have two teachers for slightly larger groups.
All classes must be taken in a two month span. After two months, classes expire.

You will learn how to make a garment from knit/stretchy fabric from start to finish: Finding a pattern, deciphering the pattern, choosing the right fabric and notions, cutting the pattern to fit you, and finally garment construction
Students can bring an unfinished project for help, a pattern they would like to make, including quilts, bags and miscellaneous items. You must sign up 1 week prior to the class. Payment is required online at the time of registration.
