Ladder & Stepladder

The aim of the course is to provide the candidate with the knowledge and understanding of the skills required to safely demonstrate, inspect, carry and use ladders.

The objectives of the course are to enable delegates to:

•  Understand the safe and appropriate use of ladders for the job requirements.

•  Have an understanding of responsibilities for the use of ladders in the workplace.

• Accident prevention and control

•  Ladder defects

•  Inspection of ladders

•  Securing ladders

•  Lowering ladders

•  Steps and trestles

•  Maintenance and storage

•  Carrying and positioning
