Lego EV3

Let your kids' imagination run wild by combining LEGO with robotics! This course will foster their creativity and teach them essential programming skills with the help of our dedicated team of trainers.

We believe that everyone can be an inventor. In this special course, playing with LEGO meets robotics. Our students can discover the realm of robotics in a playful and interactive way: by building and programming LEGO robots.

Students can create anything they can imagine. During this course, students can program and control LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 robots with the help of visual program blocks. Once the robots are fully functioning, we work together to find answers to typical robotics problems and real engineering challenges.

Students get to know the operation of various sensors and motors, and program a robot to accurately detect objects around it. The course ends with a robotics obstacle race where students can prove what they’ve learnt.

The course will center around the following themes:

• Assembling and disassembling things and building new structures
• Building and programming LEGO robots
• Understanding the basic elements of programming, such as loops, if-statements, and variables
• Creating more complex projects using arrays and functions
• Understanding measurement logging and graphs in a fun way, through interacting with the robots
• Understanding ultrasonic sensors by programming robots to sense objects around them
