Over the course of the qualification, you will develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of games design and development. Over the course of the qualification, you will develop knowledge and understanding of the core areas of games design and development.
This single unit qualification is designed for learners to develop an initial idea into a game prototype. You will understand different types of computer games and their platforms. You will be able to design a computer game in response to a client brief, before you develop and test your game.
You will experiement with 2D and 3D games throughout the course, using a range of different assets that meet the needs of the client brief. You will then gather feedback to review how your game meets the client brief before making recommendations for improvements.
This qualification will provide the platform to complete our L3 Certificate in Games Technologies, planned to commence in September 25!

Game Development training is offered by Training Dragon.There are no open public schedule dates for Game Development course. We can offer you a private training or arrange a public course for you.
In this course, you will learn to develop 2D and 3D games in Unity. No prior knowledge of Unity is required in order to take this course. You will learn the basics of Game Design, the concepts for Development and create fun, fantastic looking games.
Students can progress to study an undergraduate course at a university of their choice or progress to employment.
Using the powerful Unity, students on this workshop will learn how to develop a basic game using assets provided within the software.
The OCR National Award in Creative iMedia is a GCSE equivalent qualification, similar to a BTEC that involves the completion of three assessed units. My Cambridge National Award in Creative iMedia has been developed for home educated students interested in Digital Art & Games Design.
