Our aim at Trafford College is two-fold – to provide an inclusive educational offer that serves the needs of our local community and to provide a career focused curriculum that meets the skills needs of businesses across the region, enabling individuals to further their employment prospects. In short, we are here to ensure our students develop the skills, attitudes and behaviours required for success in life and work.
Our offer at Trafford College includes academic education (A Levels and GCSEs), adult education, apprenticeships, community learning, higher education, and vocational/technical education – including delivery of the new T Levels. We have two main campus sites – at Altrincham and Stretford, as well as our highly successful Retail Skills Shop in the Trafford Centre. In addition, we deliver across a range of community venues within Trafford for adult learners.
At Trafford College we offer a wide range of courses in Greater Manchester for school leavers and adults, with vocational and technical courses, A Levels, apprenticeships and degree level qualifications.
It is also suitable if you wish to progress to Higher Education and are studying the Certificate as part of a wider programme of study. Completion of this qualification is achieved through classroom based learning and supported by placement in a real work environment.
