Facilities

We want you to have the best possible College experience therefore we have a range of services and resources to help you to succeed. At Redcar & Cleveland College, we are with you all the way and offering support in and out of the classroom, assisting with study, revision and organisational skills.

Our Cafe

Our cafe offers a welcoming, socialising space to make breakfast, lunch times, and coffee breaks more enjoyable. With everything from breakfast, fresh coffee, sandwiches, and delicious desserts, you'll always have the chance to grab a bite to eat.

Learning Resources Centre

We have a dedicated team of qualified and experienced staff that are happy to support LRC users to access resources and make the most of the facilities available. You will find an extensive range of resources to support your learning including:

• Books, magazines, journals and newspapers (both print and electronic)

• Access to the college Virtual Learning Environment

• CD Resources

• Access to a range of educational software and electronic resources

Resources are available and can be borrowed (some for use in the LRC only), and training is available in a range of related information skills to enable you to use resources effectively. Our staff are here to help you to develop your skills in using a computer to produce course assignments and access online resources.

IT Facilities

Computers are available for you to use in the LRC to complete your studies.

A wide range of equipment is also available for loan with the use of your college ID card:

Printing and Photocopying

Printing and photocopying (including colour printing) is available in the LRC. You will receive termly print credits, which can be topped up at a discount rate at the LRC.  A college ID card is required to use these facilities.

Fitness Centre

At Redcar & Cleveland College we care about our student’s wellbeing and fitness. That is why we have a brand new state of the art fitness suite on site with the all the equipment students need to help live a healthy lifestyle.

The college also has Level 3 Personal Trainers, which as part of their course, can offer fitness and nutritional advice and can also plan workout regimes to help students stay in shape.
