Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)

Designed as a FastTrack course for trainers to gain a teaching qualification with the backup of all our online materials so you get the best of both worlds; the flexibility of an online course and an intensive three day classroom session.

The Three Day Fast class is carried out over three days of one week with your micro-teach being presented on the third day.

Plenty of time is allocated over the preceding days to prepare your micro-teach as well as take part in tutorials, activities and presentations of the main areas of learning for the qualification.

As with the five day course you can take your time and complete the course at your own pace. You have up to 12 Months to complete from the first day of the course to signing off your assessed units.

This format has proved very popular – especially during Covid as it:

Full access is given to our online distance learning course and materials with no additional cost.

Initial Teaching Qualification

Enrol on this course if you want to be able to teach adults in the United Kingdom. This is the starting point if you want to work within a college or in the community and you wish to teach. No matter the subject you want to teach this course qualifies you to be a teacher of adults.

Taking pride in expertly supporting you to learn by combining theory and practical throughout the course, there are no exams and you are assessed by submitting a portfolio where you complete a bank of questions and can, if you wish, add in evidence collected during the face to face elements in our training centre.

Your teachers are here to help! We have designed the course so you get feedback at every stage and have ample opportunities to resubmit work after marking if small changes are needed. NO EXAMS!

A face to face, interactive course in a safe, supportive environment where you will have direct contact with a tutor, and where you can ask questions! You can take the activities used in this course with you, adding them to your trainers toolbox, to employ in your teaching now an in the future.

The opportunities don’t stop here! You can progress on to the Level 4 and Level 5 courses and if you chose to gain the QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills) and teach in schools.
