The Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (previously DTLLS) provides teacher status in the post 16 and adult teaching sector.
The course consists of seven units:

Wider professional practice in education and training
Action Research
Developing, using and organising resources within a specialist area
Inclusive Practice
Learners must produce a portfolio of evidence that is a combination of written assessments and practical teaching evidence. They must log 100 hours of teaching practice, including eight lesson observations.
