Course Objectives
At the successful completion of the course the trainee will be able to:
Demonstrate knowledge of machinery lockout and reinstatement in the workplace
Lockout machinery in the workplace
Reinstate machinery in the workplace.

This course is aimed at ensuring people working with breathing apparatus’ can understand and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attributes for all essential areas covered under the full “best practice” guidelines in the workplace.
Our 2 hour course can be held at your premises or in our training room and will give you a broad overview of what asbestos is, the likely building materials that it is found in and provide a better understanding of what to look for.
This course will provide you with the skills and understanding of the requirements to safely operate a truck loader crane within the parameters outlined in the Approved Code of Practice for Cranes.
This course teaches how to work safely to erect non-notifiable and prefabricated frame scaffolding up to five metres in height and does not require a Certificate of Competence or notification to WorkSafe NZ. It is ideal for residential construction scaffold requirements.
