Supply Chain Management/Logistics has become a vital source of competitive advantage for companies throughout Texas and the United States. Employees are in demand across many industries, including oil & gas, automotive, computers and electronics, food and beverage, and medical.

In Austin surrounding area, there is a projection of nearly 35,000 supply chain management jobs by 2022. An estimated 750 new jobs will be needed annually in Central Texas with job growth projected at 22 percent; five times the national average.

 

Through Continuing Education, ACC offers the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) CLT certification. The Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification is achieved via two credentials:

  • MSSC-Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) Certification
    OSHT-1015: Safety & Accident Prevention - This course prepares students for the Certified Logistics Associate Exam (Foundation Level).

  • MSSC-Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certification
    LMGT-1005: Basics of Inventory Management - This course prepares students for the Certified Logistics Technician Exam (Mid-Level).
