Our acrylic courses will introduce students to the varied techniques of acrylic painting, which span those of oil and watercolour, and allow inquisitive students great freedom of expression, whether their interests lie within the realm of the figurative or the abstract.

During the course you will develop your confidence through the use of different types of mediums, this will include exploration and experimentation. You will use and develop your creativity and imagination, whilst expanding observational skills.
This day provides a solid grounding in the principles of drawing. Students will learn the basics of drawing and composing, including how to create sketch perspectives, assume scale and introduce texture and tone into their illustrations.
This course will make sure you showcase your best work to support College and UCAS applications for Art and Design based courses. You will get to explore a variety of approaches media and techniques working from the life model focusing on drawing.
Over the course of the term, each child will learn the basic techniques of hand building and take home several pieces after they have been built, painted, glazed and fired.
