Recognise an emergency situation
Manage risks to the health and safety of self and others
Seek assistance from emergency response services
Display respectful behaviour towards casualty
Operate Automated External Defibrillator (AED) according to manufacturer’s Instructions
Accurately convey incident details to emergency response services
Report details of incident to workplace supervisor as appropriate
Maintain confidentiality of records and information in line with statutory and/or organisational policies.
Course Delivery
Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities.
Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
Outcomes
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).
Entry Requirements
All candidates must be literate in the English language (no interpreters allowed).
All students must be physically capable of performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 2 minutes, uninterrupted on a full size manikin on the ground floor.
At enquiry, students can enter the program by expressing an interest and being sent an information pack that contains booking notification and course information (Course Brochure).
This interest process enables the RTO and client to work together to ensure the course is suitable for them and to identify any additional support needs & make adequate provisions.
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a pre-requisite to UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel.
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation will be inclusive in this workshop and will be completed prior to the completion of UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel.
