At TDA it is our goal to ensure that all children have the opportunity to learn how to dance in a fun, safe and professional environment. We intend to pass on our knowledge of performance and strong technical skills to students of all ages.

We wish to share our love and passion for dance with like-minded and creative people. We offer a range of different genres and classes to suit every individual. We aim to create an atmosphere where students can grow and express themselves in an encouraging and focused environment.
Lyrical is a Slow Modern/Neo-Classical style of dance incorporating classical technique with modern expressions and a slight contemporary feel.
This style is focused on conveying meaning and emotion through the intepretation of music. Lyrical dance is offered to our VPA Company Performers in their weekly workshops.
Lyrical dance is expressive. Ranging in movements that can be lyrical and soft, to abstract and angular, lyrical dance can also be described as slow and expressive jazz movements with an emphasis on technique adagio/floor/centre.
A slower, soft, more expressive form of dance incorporating technical elements from both jazz and ballet.
A beautiful dance form implementing ballet, modern & jazz techniques to express lyrics of songs; flowing, graceful, emotional and inspirational. Develop strength & flexibility while acquiring solid dance technique.
