M.A (Hons.) Economics or Master of Arts Honours in Economics is a Post-Graduate programme. Economics states how individuals, firms and the government make choices. It is a way of thinking about the world that enables us to understand and improve decision making and throws light on issues such as the environment, unemployment, inflation, poverty, globalization and trade.

During the Master of Arts Honours course in Economics, students are equipped with a range of quantitative, analytical and communication skills. The duration of the Master of Arts Honours course in Economics is five years. during this five years’ term, both graduation and post-graduation are covered. After passing the Master of Arts Honours course successfully, students have widespread job opportunities both in the government and private sectors.
