At Sew Crafty Studio, students over age 16 learn through hands-on instruction on skills ranging from machine-sewing basics to more advanced techniques. Open studio, project-based classes, private group get-togethers, and private 1-on-1 lessons are also available.
Learn the basics of machine sewing: threading, operation, sewing with control, etc. and make a drawstring bag.
Private lessons are 1-on-1 with the Instructor and give lots of personal attention. The classroom may have more than one private lesson {with another instructor} going on at the same time. Please let us know if you would like the classroom entirely to yourself.
Students learn at their own pace and progressively gain confidence as their skill level grows with each project. Classes are taught in a creative and encouraging environment with small class sizes to ensure individual attention.
Learn to love and/or trouble shoot your sewing machine through this very basic sewing machine class. You will learn how to thread your machine, wind the bobbin, adjust the tension, learn the functions and how to operate your machine safely.
This class is perfect for complete beginners & people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher without committing to a 6 week class. You will learn how to competently use a sewing machine and complete a tote bag.
