The MEMIR Training aims to formally train personnel in command, control, communication, and stress management aspects of handling major emergencies. Additionally, it offers initial emergency management training for individuals progressing towards the role of an emergency response manager.
The objectives of MEMIR Training are as follows:
a) Gain an understanding of key factors involved in preparing for, responding to, and maintaining control during emergency situations as they unfold or escalate.
b) Learn to manage communication, emergency-related information, and implement predetermined plans from the moment the emergency alarm is raised until assurance that the emergency has concluded.
c) Understand the impact of stress on individuals and team performance during emergencies.
