What you’ll learn:
Manual handling grievances related to back sprains and strains are a leading cause of workplace injuries in New Zealand and cost millions of dollars in lost productivity annually. Further more, determinants of risk injury may vary greatly, being influenced by factors such as the nature, environment and even location of the industry.
This workshop will arm you with an understanding of your responsibilities under the HSW Act and give you a functional overview of the mechanisms of injuries and strategies for controlling the risk of workplace harm.
