The Master’s programme in Fashion Design is conceptualized to prepare innovative professionals possessing a creative vision and aesthetic sensibilities with strategic, practical, and critical skills to take on responsible roles in the fashion industry.
The graduates will develop a distinctive edge and identity through diverse projects and an intra-disciplinary pedagogy with a focus on tactility, form, and image through comprehensive inputs and specialization in textiles, bespoke fashion, and fashion styling. The impetus is to prepare future leaders who are adaptive, digitally savvy, effective communicators, responsive, dynamic, and have a research-oriented attitude and critical mindset to create a niche for themselves in the multi-faceted fashion industry.
The course specifically focuses on techniques and technologies in fashion design. The graduates develop critical, innovative, technical, and managerial skills concerning design sensibilities, values, and socio-cultural systems.
