Language Requirement

Entry requirements for International Candidates following courses and/or writing their Thesis/Dissertation in English:
A score of 5.5 for IELTS (Academic);
Or
A score of 550 paper-based total (PBT) or a score of 80 for internet-based total (IBT) or 213 for computer-based total (CBT) for TOEFL.

Entry Requirement

A Bachelor of Education degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00 or an equivalent degree
Or
A Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of at least 3.00
And
Post graduate Diploma in Education with a CGPA of 3.00
Or
A teaching qualification recognised by the University;
Or
Teaching experience with an institution recognised by Senate
Or
A professional qualification from a recognised professional body
Or
A qualification approved by the Senate from time to time

Intake Schedule

Semester I of the academic year commences in September while
Semester II commences in February

The Faculty of Built Environment (FBE) offers five undergraduate professional programmes tailored to meet the nation's construction and real estate sectors' manpower needs. All these programmes are accredited on the national and international levels. For example, our Bachelor of Science in Architecture has been accredited as Part I by the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) while our 2-year Bachelor of Architecture program leads to Part I recognition by the Board.
