Course Details

MPM is an industry-driven programme designed for individuals who want to establish themselves as professional in project management field and those who are interested to pursue a new career in project management. The programme helps students to develop the ability to solve real-world problems, exercise sound management judgment and develop efficient decision-making skills.

MPM aims to trains students to acquire a wide perspective by providing courses in the core area of project management such as principles of project management, cost analysis, quality management, risk management, contract management and business management. In addition, courses like change management, international project management and safety health will allow MPM graduates to be competent professionals in the era of globalisation. These graduates have been trained using case studies and a research project, thus improving employability.

This programme is ideal for project managers, supervisors, engineers, project directors from various sectors – national and international public and non-governmental organisations, ministries, banks, consulting companies and entrepreneurs.

Program Educational Objectives (PEO)

  • PEO 1: Demonstrate mastery of theoretical and practical knowledge in project management in line with industry’s needs.
  • PEO 2: Demonstrate comprehensive managerial and entrepreneurial skills to lead effectively and responsibly in different project management organisations.
  • PEO 3: Adopt and apply a broad range of digital applications and analytical techniques competently to support business functions.
  • PEO 4: Demonstrate teamwork, interpersonal communication skills, creativity and innovation skills in managing projects.
  • PEO 5: Commit and seek learning for continuous development for successful career advancement in project management.
