This program integrates technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial concepts in construction project management, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills for contemporary construction practices. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team of academics and industry experts, it addresses challenges in managing complex construction projects, emphasizing resource efficiency, environmental considerations, and social impacts. Students gain leadership skills, the ability to analyze and improve business processes, and the capacity to evaluate sustainable design proposals. Delivery

  • This course is entirely delivered in Singapore. Students will have access to local qualified lecturers and academic resources provided by Nanyang Institute of Management. There will be a combination of lectures, tutorials, site visits, workshops, seminars and presentations. Students may also be given additional work to complete outside of scheduled classes. Resources and materials provided for students include lecture notes and references for further reading in books, publications, articles and websites.

Assessment

  • Assessment of modules comprises assessable coursework and/or a final written examination. The assessable coursework may include individual and/or group assignments such as project proposals, reports, business plans, written assignments, presentations, essays, case studies, tests, and/or syndicate work.

Award

  • Upon passing all modules, students will be awarded the Master of Science in Construction and Project Management.
