MHMCT (Masters of Hotel Management and Catering Technology)

2 years (No age limit)
Eligibility:
The candidate should be an Indian National.
Passed Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or its equivalent, with at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Candidate should have appeared for Entrance Test securing a non-zero score, conducted by the Competent Authority appointed by Government of Maharashtra in the State of Maharashtra.

The Institute has been successful in placing its students in star properties not only across the country, but also in star hotels across the world.
From the academic year, 2012-2013 the Institute is proud to be the first to launch the Master's in Hotel Management & Catering Technology(MHMCT) in Maharashtra which is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University & approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
The programme is spread over four semesters, with two months of Industrial Training with a specialization. The curriculum seeks to equip students with a knowledge & skills-set necessary for supervisory & managerial positions. The course aims to develop student's ability to apply leadership strategies to hospitality industry-specific situations.

The Institute undertakes consultancy projects for the hospitality Industry in all areas such as-
Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Rooms Division, Housekeeping services etc.
Product development related to different types of fresh & processed food products.

Contribution to society
As part of the college social responsibility the students are involved in performing various social activities with NGO's like BalKalyanSanstha, Pune for conducting workshops for their students &Manju Gupta Foundation, Jalgaon for training of students in hotel operations from remote areas of Maharashtra to develop their entrepreneurship skills.

The Institute also has a tie-up with the following International companies- Sodexo (An International Industrial Catering Company) and Rich Graviss (An International Company involved in production of ready to use cake decoration & toppings) where the Institute works as a “Centre of Excellence” for the training of their newly recruited entry level employees in Food Production, Food & Beverage Service and Housekeeping.
