The objectives of this course are to introduce the area of mergers and acquisitions and to develop and strengthen the presentation and research skills necessary for the investment banking or merger arbitrage industries.
Two Hundred Years Of History
Financial and economic aspects of corporate mergers, restructuring, downsizing, and bankruptcy are examined. Relations between corporate structure and performance are investigated.
The Advanced Mergers and Acquisitions Workshop II draws together various aspects of securities and corporate law under the broad title of “M&A” and applies that knowledge to analyzing typical problems that confront business lawyers involved in M&A transactions.
This course focuses on the theory and practice of mergers and acquisitions (M&A). It seeks to equip managers or future managers with what they need to know and the skills they need to have to be effective and successful in the M&A or investment banking world.
