This course provides in-depth training for machine operators that adheres to CAN/CSA B354.4-02 (R2013). Students receive theory and practical instruction on the safe operation of machinery, applicable OHSA Regulations, accident prevention, safe handling of materials, loads and stability, and operational controls.
Understanding travel restraint systems and options for equipment are also discussed.
Students will complete a test on theory and a test on practical skills to attain certification. Recertification every three years is recommended; recertification takes approximately 2-4 hours depending on the number of participants and their competency on the machine.
