Lisa is a dental hygienist with a specialist interest in facial aesthetics. Lisa has been qualified in dental hygiene since 2003 and in aesthetics since 2010. Since Offering injectables and skincare treatments for many years Lisa has found a great passion for teaching others. She is also a trainer for BTC training medics, nurses and dental professionals in toxin and dermal filler treatments.

Facial Excellence specialises in advanced skin care training for medics, dental professionals, healthcare professionals and level 3 beauty therapists and above. Our courses are comprehensive in both theory and practical giving hands on experience to accompany the in depth theoretical aspect of all the treatments offered.
Most of the courses are run from our clinic in Colchester Essex but bespoken course, small groups or 1-1 training is also available in other locations nationwide. Our course are all approved by Hamilton Fraser, and accredited by the CPD company so you will also obtain CPD hours.

This is a one day course which covers Microneedling. Microneedling is a treatment whereby tools such as a dermapen or dermaroller are used to puncture the skin (with lots of mini needles) in order to bring a newer layer of skin to the surface and generally improve the condition of it.
Dermal planing is a relatively new form of manual exfoliation meant to be performed primarily on the face. Also known as Dermaplaning, Skin Levelling or simply Blading, the treatment is performed by a qualified professional and involves the use of a sterile surgical blade, or scalpel.

Dermaplaning is a gentle, non-invasive form of manual exfoliation in which a tool is used to gently exfoliate the outermost layers of the epidermis. It removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair.
