Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive, painless low risk skin resurfacing treatment that gently exfoliates or polishes away the top layer of dead skin cells.

A Microdermabrasion facial is performed using a high-tech hand-held device that forces a powerful spray of aluminium oxide crystals on to the face or a diamond tip wand to buff away dead skin cells.

Microdermabrasion stimulates the collagen and elastin production resulting in the skin looking brighter, feeling firmer and smoother.

The objective of this course is that by the end of it you are able to perform a professional treatment in a safe and hygienic manner in a commercially acceptable time, along with gaining experience of carrying out a consultation with the knowledge of the background, benefits, contra-indications, contra-actions, aftercare, equipment and products needed.
