Getting to know my mind, and learning how to manage it, transformed my life so that I now know I have the resources to face life’s inevitable challenges, big and small. And now I love to help others flourish.
My training and background meets best-practice standards: I have practiced mindfulness for ten years and have studied psychology to honours level, with a particular focus on mindfulness and publication of my research in the academic journal “Mindfulness.” I trained for two years with the leading mindfulness training organization in Australasia - MTI* . My registration and professional affiliation with MTI is endorsed by the globally-recognized centre of mindfulness training at the University of Massachusetts, USA. I am committed to excellence in my work and I take part in ongoing professional development and supervision from a mental health professional.
Further training in Nervous-System Regulation - helping to equip people to navigate the changing states of nervous systems, and enhancing mental health through understanding the close relationship between and our minds, biology, bodies, emotional states, behaviours, and connection with others. Lifeline training as a counsellor extended my skills in supporting people through difficulty.
