The Monaro Arms Safety course is for categories A & B for the purpose of sport target shooting & recreational hunting.
The course runs from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm every second Tuesday evening and is $85 per adult and $40 for juniors. All juniors must be accompanied by an adult. Payment must be made when registering for the course online.
Participants must download and read the Monaro Arms Safety Course Booklet and download and complete the Monaro Arms ACT Pre Safety Course Qualification/Application form prior to attending the course. These files will be automatically sent to you after booking your session.
The course consists of a practical element and participants must pass a theory test at the end of the course.

Firearm Safety Courses are conducted frequently at the TMRC clubhouse for Category A and B weapons (category H is available on request). The courses are run on a weekend (typically on a Saturday) and take 4 to 5 hours depending on the number of participants.
This course will cover all of the basics in regards to reloading metallic cartridge ammunition. It will cover cleaning and preparation of your cases, sizing, priming, powder charging, projectile seating, inspection of cases and documenting you’re reloading.
Firearms Safety Course (A&B Category) course is offered by Sporting Cross School of Business.
Security officers who hold a firearms licence for the purposes of Cash-In-Transit (CIT) duties or similar and has completed CPPSEC3008A Control security risk using firearms from CPP30411 Certificate III in Security operations must under go re-qualification and assessment every 12 months
This nationally recognized course is for participants wishing to gain a Queensland Weapons Licence.
