Music is generally thought of as being in two parts, practical and music theory. The practical element of musicianship involves the playing of your chosen instrument, be it guitar, piano, flute, drums or singing. The theory part relates to how and why music works.
Anyone can learn music theory, even if you don't play an instrument, although it does help. We would recommend that the child should be at least at reading age when they start. However, it does depend on the student, so it's worth discussing this with us. There is no upper age limit!
So, you’re interested in having music theory lessons to support and enhance your practical music making? If you want to understand what all the words and signs and symbols mean in music then you’re in the right place.
Music Theory classes are offered by School Of Rox. At School Of Rox, you’ll find a creative and comfortable learning atmosphere located.
Learning music theory has a reputation for being boring and difficult; but it doesn't have to be! With modern technology, and fantastic professors, we can teach theory easier than ever - and quickly!
