Music Wonderland (3-4 years old)

Founded in 2002, Exploring Music originally offered traditional Chinese musical instruments and instruction exclusively. Exploring Music has now become one of the Bay Area’s premier independent musical instrument retailers and lesson providers carrying a variety of string, wind, and percussion instruments. We also offer professional repairs for almost every instrument we sell.

Since 2015, Exploring Music has been a licensed Yamaha Music Education Center, offering world-renowned Yamaha Music classes to children from the age of 3. The Yamaha Method creates the foundation of a lifelong musical journey, with a focus on ear training and the development of a child’s own musical creativity and expression.

For private lessons, Exploring Music’s network of experienced and talented instructors help students of all ages and skill levels develop their musical ability and enhance their technical skills.

Properly insulated and reinforced for sound reduction, the private studios where lessons take place are highly conducive to learning. Each lesson is as enjoyable and informative as possible because our fun and friendly instructors tailor specific lesson plans for individual students based on skill-level and musical preferences.
