Junior Musical Theatre

Theatre Arts runs Musical Theatre (song and dance) classes and Drama classes weekly on a Thursday evening. Each class teaches the students vocal and dance techniques as well as acting skills and works towards a presentation to be showcased at the end of each year.

Run by industry professionals, the Theatre Arts performance program will tailor to each successful applicants needs, and will mentor and develop all the relevant techniques and attitudes needed to be successful in today’s industry. 

The program will take place one evening a week and consist of vocal and drama technique classes, with each performing arts discipline working closely together and complimenting the overall vision of the program.

Led by musical theatre professional Bernard Angel, Theatre Arts is excited to bring a new edge to theatre and performance training for the youth of Melbourne.

Course Design:

• year-long intensive course

• 1 day a week

• Develop and perform a musical theatre piece

• Develop and perform a play or dramatic work

• Present an evening of vocal performances

• Be mentored by industry professionals

• The program is designed for ages 12-18 yrs
