Course overview

This course will incorporate completing the Business Activity Statement (BAS) both manually and in MYOB. You will be using the MYOB AccountRight 2020.3 version software.

Topics will include:

Understanding GST collected and GST paid
GST terminology
BAS forms and BAS codes
Time requirements for BAS reporting
Where to record pay as you go instalments (PAYGI) and pay as you go withholding (PAYGW)
Estimate of amount payable on BAS
Completing the BAS form

This course is suitable for anyone requiring knowledge to complete their BAS. It may also give you the skills to gain employment.

This short course is non-accredited therefore is not registered with the National Training Register.
