Nail (Technician)

With 600 hours of training, students can expect to learn a variety of skills and techniques to provide professional nail care services to clients. Some of the topics that could be covered in a Nail Technician course could include:

• Anatomy and physiology of the nail
• Sanitation and Safety Practices
• Nail diseases and disorders
• Nail shaping and filing techniques
• nail polish application
• Nail art and design
• manicures and pedicures
• Acrylic and gel nail extensions
• Fillings and nail repairs
• Knowledge of nail products and sales

Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared to take a certification exam and earn their license as a Nail Technician. They will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in a variety of settings, including nail salons, spas, and hotels, and may also have the opportunity to start their own nail care business.
